What Is The Absorption Voltage of 24V LiFePO4 battery?
For 12V LiFePO4 batteries: Absorption voltage is 14.2V-14.6V
For 24V LiFePO4 batteries: Absorption voltage is 28.4V-29.2V

How Low Can You Discharge A 24V LiFePO4 Battery?
KET recommended not to discharge a LiFePO4 battery below 20% of its capacity. So, for a 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, the minimum safe discharge level would be around 80% of the battery's capacity, or approximately 80Ah.

This is because when discharged to less than 20%, it is over-discharged, a condition that can damage the battery.
What Is The 24V LiFePO4 Battery's  Minimum Voltage?
The minimum voltage of a LiFePO4 battery is 2.5V per battery cell. Below we illustrate the minimum voltage for each of the common 12v, 24v, 36v and 48v LiFePO4 battery packs separately:

What Is The Difference: NMC vs LFP Battery?
Both NMC and LFP are extremely common battery types and KET will make it easier for you to understand the difference with some data comparisons below.

Energy Density: NMC chemistries can achieve energy densities of around 150 to 250 watt-hours per kilogram (Wh/kg), while LFP batteries typically range from approximately 120 to 140 Wh/kg.

Safety: LFP chemistry has a higher thermal runaway temperature threshold, typically around 270 to 300 °C (518 to 572 ℉). NMC batteries have a lower thermal runaway temperature threshold, typically around 150 to 200 °C (302 to 392 ℉).

Cycle Life: LFP batteries can over 2,000 to 3,000 charge-discharge cycles. NMC batteries typically offer a cycle life of around 500 to 1,000 cycle.

Cost: LFP batteries are generally more cost-effective compared to NMC batteries.

Performance at High Temperatures: NMC batteries usually exhibit better performance at high temperatures compared to LFP batteries.
What Is The 24V LiFePO4 Battery's Max Temperature?
About operating/discharging max temperature
The operating temperature of LiFePO4 batteries is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), but he ideal operating temperature for them is usually between 20 and 45 degrees Celsius (68-113 degrees Fahrenheit).

About thermal runaway max temperature
LiFePO4 batteries have a relatively high thermal runaway temperature, around 270°C-280°C (518°F-536°F).

About charging max temperature
The recommended max temperature for charging LiFePO4 batteries is around 45°C-50°C (113°F-122°F).

About storage max temperature
it's recommended to keep LiFePO4 batteries within a temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to 45°C (113°F).
What Is The 24V LFP Battery's Cycle Life?
KET produces LFP batteries with an average cycle life of over 2000 cycles. If you follow our storage and maintenance recommendations, you can even exceed 5000 cycles.

The following are KET's recommendations for storing and maintaining LFP batteries:

Storage temperature: When LFP batteries are not in use, they should be stored in a cool place (usually 15-25 °C) as much as possible. Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperature conditions such as excessive temperatures or severe cold conditions.

Charge state: It is recommended that the battery is charged to approximately 50% prior to storage as this helps to maintain the stability of the battery.

Storage Environment: Store LFP batteries in a dry, clean and well-ventilated area. Avoid exposing the battery to moisture or harmful gases.

Regular recharging: If the LFP battery is not used for a long period of time, it is recommended that it be recharged (to 50% charge) at regular intervals (every 3-6 months).

Avoid over-discharging: Avoid over-discharging (below 20% DOD), which may cause irreversible damage to the battery.

Regular inspection: Periodically check the appearance of the LFP battery and the connected components to ensure that no damage or looseness is evident. If any problems are found, they should be repaired or replaced promptly.

The manufacturing process of LFP batteries involves electrode preparation, electrode stacking, cell assembly, sealing, formation, aging, module/pack assembly, testing, and quality control, as well as packaging and distribution for final delivery.

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, also known as LFP batteries, are a type of rechargeable battery commonly used in various applications, including electric vehicles (EVs), solar energy storage systems, and portable electronics.

On average, LiFePO4 batteries can last over 2,000 cycle times. With good use and storage habits, it can even exceed 5,000 cycle times. When converted to use time, it is equivalent to more than 8 years.

The Recycling Process:

Sorting: Sorting batteries based on chemistries, sizes, and conditions for appropriate treatment.

3. Resource Recovery: Extracting valuable metals like lithium, iron, and phosphate for reuse in battery manufacturing or other industries.
4. Treatment of Hazardous Materials: Properly handling and treating hazardous components, such as electrolytes or coatings, to prevent environmental pollution.
What Is The Maximum Voltage for 24V LiFePO4 Battery?
The maximum voltage of LiFePO4 cell is 3.65V and the nominal voltage is 3.2v. The voltage of cells in series is superimposed, and the voltage in parallel remains the same.

So we can connect 8 LiFePO4 battery cells in series to get a 24V (Nominal voltage 8*3.2V=25.6V) battery pack. And the maximum voltage for 24V LiFePO4 is 3.65V*8=29.2V.
